Some seasons simply arrive. This one makes an entrance.

Join us for the first snowfall, the first district lighting and the opening of Santa’s Workshop. Blachere Illumination, the lighting house behind the Champs-Élysées, Hudson Yards, and Harrods, transforms CityPlace from end to end, with the new Discovery Tree standing at the center of it all.

Santa arrives in the Audi SQ9, because even the North Pole appreciates a grand entrance. Richie Nuzz sets the tone, Ballet Palm Beach brings the “Waltz of the Snowflakes” to life, and an acappella ensemble fills the plaza with harmony.

Stay for dinner, linger over shopping, or wander the glow. Every corner brings something new to discover.

Discover the Light at CityPlace, Presented by

New this year, The Discovery Tree rises above an animated compass rose and glass floor, a new holiday landmark at the heart of CityPlace and a sister to our Wishing Tree. Created by Blachere Illumination, the internationally renowned lighting house behind displays on the Champs-Élysées, at Hudson Yards and at Harrods, the tree anchors a property-wide lighting transformation. Canopies, archways and light sculptures trace the walk between the two trees, past shops and restaurants. Stroll, shop, dine and linger beneath a canopy of light each evening of the season.
